Managing Stress & Anxiety

Effective therapy teaches the client how to identify and manage stress and anxiety. Depression is the feeling of extreme sadness, low mood and energy, loss of enjoyment and interest in doing activities and having feelings of despair and hopelessness. Effective therapy allows clients to have a safe space to share their struggles. The client learns ways to challenge negative thoughts; they learn the root cause of the depressive symptoms, healthy coping mechanisms to counter and reduce symptoms and other strategies to manage stress and improve relationships.

Therapy teaches you how to identify your triggers, the feelings behind the anger which is usually hurt, and ways to cope and become more resilient when situations arise that cause an anger response. Clients learn techniques to induce calm ways to reframe thinking and challenge emotional responses as well as strategies to enhance life satisfaction and feelings of joy and happiness.
